Nasreddine Guerfala
CEO & Founder
Nasreddine Guerfala is a professional engineer with 15 years of experience in the energy efficiency and sustainability field in North Africa, Canada and United States.
He was Director, Energy for a district energy company in Toronto (Enwave). Nasreddine was also a Manager, Strategy and Business development for Hydro One leading growth initiatives in microgrids, battery storage and EV charging. Nasreddine serves now as the Vice President Business Development for TruGrid, an EPC company in Solar and Battery storage in Canada and US.
Nasreddine was also the President of Association of Energy Engineers Greater Toronto Area chapter (2022-2025).

Nasreddine holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Tunis, A master of Applied Sciences from University of Sherbrooke and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Toronto Metropolitan University. Nasreddine Led Community Energy Planning, Special Projects and Partnerships within Customer Solutions group at Hydro One. He collaborated with municipalities and different communities in Ontario to advance reliability, sustainability, affordability, and choice. He was on forefront of identifying opportunities for Community Energy Systems and raising awareness and capacity building for existing funding opportunities and technical capacity for their planning and delivery.
Nasreddine Guerfala est un ingénieur professionnel avec 15 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de l'efficacité énergétique et du développement durable en Afrique du Nord, au Canada et aux États-Unis.
Il a été directeur de l'énergie pour une entreprise de chauffage urbain à Toronto (Enwave). Nasreddine a également été directeur de la stratégie et du développement commercial pour Hydro One, dirigeant des initiatives de croissance dans le domaine du stockage de l’énergie et de la recharge des véhicules électriques. Nasreddine est désormais vice-président du développement des affaires pour TruGrid, une société d’ingénierie et construction dans le domaine du stockage électrique et énergie solaire au Canada et aux États-Unis.
Nasreddine est également président du chapitre de la région du Grand Toronto de l’Association of Energy Engineers (2022-2025).
